All lawyers are trolls but not all trolls are lawyers.

Update on Volkswagen Diesel Fraud Case

We filed an action in Butte County on May 17, 2018 with the intent of having a jury decide punitive damages. We would be the first party to bring the defeat device case to jury trial.  Peer reviewed studies proved thousands of people with lung diseases died from the fraud.

Do you have a conflict with conflict?

"A soul is forged in the fires of adversity, not comfort" - Jana Oliver

I've been a lawyer for 13 years and it took me 10 years to stop avoiding conflict.  My fear of conflict was not the result of making others angry. I feared conflict because it exposed my own inner demons.

When attempting to obtain a goal through conflict, your weakness are exposed to yourself, and potentially your adversary.  Your adversary will attempt to exploit weaknesses which acts as a mirror to your objective self. Engaging in conflict is inviting someone to critique your position, and potentially worldview. Conflict kicks up the dust from the darkest corners of our soul. Without these brief glimpses into our inner psyche growth stagnates.

Sometimes a conflict is a losing cause itself but still worth pursuing.

"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." - Viktor Frankl

We all need conflict for a healthy psyche.  The need for conflict is primal and most opt for conflict-porn such as:

Sports watching

Following politics (as opposed to holding politicians accountable)

Following crime-news

People who avoid conflict will comfortably avoid being remembered by anyone not yet born.

Unedited. To be continued...
